Hi group,

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Arthit Prasartkul from Siamensis
Nature Explorer Group (www.siamensis.org) in Thailand. I currently pursue my
Master's Degree-in-Columbia University, New York. I've been interested in
freshwater fish for a long time. Before I came to the states, I always go
out to see freshwater fish in Thai river and streams.

NANFA's member and a good friend of mine, Tony Tejavej, recommended me to
your group. Since the very cold winter (at least, for me who saw my first
snow this year in the states) is ending, I think it is a good time for me to
introduce myself to you guys.

It would be great if I could go out on a field trip with you in the states.
This will be a valuable experiece for me. Please let me know if any of you
in the area is going on a field trip this spring and summer. I can't wait to
get my feet wet! Thank you very much.

Yours,

Arthit Prasartkul
