I am a day late and a buck short... But let's make some trip reee-ports!

Saturday May 7th, 2005 the Cleveland Aquarium Society and NANFA Ohio will
again team up to look-in-the aquatic systems of the northeast corner of
Ohio. In the past, we've worked the Grand River solely... I'm going to push
for a Chagrin River site this year instead of the Grand mainstem there at
the dam.

<push> ;)

I don't think last year ever got written up? Eek. We saw around 30 species
of fish, including some real whoppers of brook lamprey-in-our small stream
site. We also watched Nick sacrifice his body in the chill spring waters of
Lake Erie to assure some people saw some fish. It paid off with a nice
quillback carpsucker and a most gravid longnose dace that one questions how
she was staying afloat. I also hope to really do up a presentation on
Unionid mussels-in-the second Rock Creek site. I hope the weather is going
to cooperate with us and we'll finally get to really work that site. It's
just looked awesome in the past, I've been drooling since to be able to
really see it in its full glory.

Nick, Jeff.... We should invite our SWCD friends from the area. I'll shoot
Becky an email and that fella that helped out-in-the Rocky River Fest last
year. Perhaps you can follow up with others? Dottie and the Geauga gang
maybe? I'll send out the Ohio list email tonight. I don't have that here
at school.

Sorry for the UNadvance notice. I've been a bad regional rep this spring.
Bad rep! Bad rep! But I'm pretty darn sure I just cleaned up the last of
my little life messes (for this phase anyway ;), and have also finished all
but one class in my course work... So let's get busy doin' some fishin'!

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or even call. My
number is there on the inside of your AC :)
