NANFA-L-- Gambusia affinis for mosquito control in New Orlean's swimming

In NewsWeek, I read that some charitable organization is donating bags of Gambusia affinis to stock into disused swimming pools in New Orleans.
They are expected to control mosquitos in the festering, unmaintained swimming pools.

Amusing side note: One of the organizations' top brass also happened to personally check out, really closely, the pools during a stocking run. He compared it to being in a cesspool.
