Todd what other fish species are kept with your suckers? I've been trying to start with fingerling hogsuckers but those seem to starve quicker than the 1-2" ones. I'm attributing alot of it to them just being out competed because there is never a drop of food on the bottom like you mention. Between the Cyprinella's and the Nocomis they will eat as long as I keep putting in food. Anything else is picked up-in-night by the madtoms.
