streams. We need to encourage committed and
knowledgeable people to apply for this an important
position. This person will work closely with
watershed groups providing outreach and technical
support. This is part of the Clean Water Initiative
that was voted on in the spring by the County Council.

Montgomery County Department of Environmental
Protection is advertising a position for a full-time
Rainscapes Program Coordinator. Deadline for
application is August 24. Please forward to any and
all interested groups and individuals.
