Hi all,

This year the American Fisheries Society Annual Meeting is in Lake Placid
(NY) from September 10-14th. I know many folks plan on attending the NANFA
Conference but I wanted to poll the group and see how many will be attending
the national AFS meeting.

If there are some folks coming, I would like to plan a time when we could get
together, maybe knee deep in a creek or over a couple of beers.
Unfortunately fish diversity is rather low being in the mountains but there
still some interesting critters. If there is an interest in this please let
me know.

My in-laws live in Saranac Lake, approximately 15 minutes from Lake Placid.
If anyone is driving up and needs a place to keep a canoe/kayak, sampling
equipment, or etc., where they will be safe, please let me know. It would
not be a problem. Or if someone is attending and needs any information about
the area, do not hesitate to contact me.
