You and me both!

We the People have lost control of the public commons -- capital,
information, airwaves, land, health care, employment, genetic information,
and even the power to control our own economic affairs.

We the People are excluded from decisions about war and peace, nuclear
weapons policy, torturing "detainees," stem cell research, alternative
energy, endangered species protection, ecosystem integrity, and decisions
about technology in which there is the probability of disaster (e.g., the
levees around New Orleans). The list goes on and on.

Taxation without Representation? More like Extermination without
Representation!

I'm glad to contribute a penny or two to studies on how fish suck. It's one
of the few times I can say that our government doesn't suck, too.
