yea the first time i saw a vertical banded rosefin was while laying in this
little ditch here in the chattanooga city limits... i thought someone had
released some kinda tropical. :) they are really nice and a treat to see indeed.
i have since found them in a few other small spring fed runs including a wee
bit further south but still in the tn drainage. i kept several in the cement
pond where the survived for a full year and in color the whole time.
i still have not opened the shrink wrap on my new al book. i have soo many
books now i cant keep up w/ them. when i head out i take the bama, tn and
petersons generally. i will crack the new ala soon for what your speaking of.
that local rosefins ( l ardens ) may be scarlets.
