spastic...sounds like normal to me. Every one I have ever collected has ended up on the floor within a week. Turned my back for no more than 5 minutes on a bucket and they were out. Kept them in multiple tanks that only had openings along the back of the hood, usually only a couple inches wide and long, and they still find their way out.

Anyway, an hour ago I finally put them in my tank. Some appear to have bruised swollen faces but swimming fine otherwise. Also, one has a raised small circular lump on its side..looks like it is under the skin. Does anyone recommend treating them with anything as a preventative or just let em go and see what happens? Salt is controversial as far as effectiveness...but what about a general antibiotic or parasite remedy... I am thinking more from the damage during handling... but maybe the lump is a concern as well
thanks
Mike
