I had great luck a couple of weeks ago with a parasite remedy called dyacide.  (Stopped the fishes from scratching in a couple of days.)

yesterday morning I collected 6 adult redside dace...carefully limited handling time and transported them in my five gallon bucket back to my house as careful as possible....when-in-home I tried to take a peek...I slid the lid off the bucket and instantly three came shooting out and onto the basement floor...     what happened next was simply not good... trying to scoop them up with a dry hand...I believe eventually all came out of the bucket before I got smart...

Anyway, an hour ago I finally put them in my tank.  Some appear to have bruised swollen faces but swimming fine otherwise.  Also, one has a raised small circular lump on its side..looks like it is under the skin.   Does anyone recommend treating them with anything as a preventative or just let em go and see what happens?   Salt is controversial as far as effectiveness...but what about a general antibiotic or parasite remedy...   I am thinking more from the damage during handling... but maybe the lump is a concern as well

thanks
