Subject: NANFA-L-- Quick Cure or Salt

I was able to catch 5 YOY longear sunfish (quarter size) during cold weather (flurries) on Saturday by dipping undercut banks (little overhanging brush). After acclimating overnight the fish have been released into my 40 gallon aquarium and appear to be adapting...took bloodworms after an hour. But did notice all seem to be scratching on rocks or wood in tank...although I don't see any signs of Ich. Temps are 68...not sure whether to use quick cure or salt...other inhabitants include fantail darters and redside dace. Is quick cure a darter killer?
I have seen a few postings about white suckers. Would they make a good scavenger for food that does not get eaten? I don't want something that gets too big.
thanks
