There are more recent records of Ashy darters-in-the Little River site I've been sampling-in-and another close by I told ya about last week than in the Duck I believe. Bluebreasts are also fairly common there. I would say your best bet for Bluebreasts right now is the Little River or French Broad. That Little River site could top out-in-15 species of darters and a 1/3 listed.

Yes I saw Snubnose I thought I put it in but I may have forgot to. I did see Rosefin but I know I forgot to put that on the list. I was spent after snorkeling hiking and zero sleep on a hangover. Apparently I forgot just because I am in college again doesnt mean I could handle my alcohol like I could two years ago.

Moving East along I 40 would probably be your best bet, or actually West because that would be on the way back to 75 for you.

No rosefin shiners, bluebreast or snubbies? I guess those wouldn't be too hard to run down someplace else. I'll probably take a side trip to the Duck cause I want some redband and blenny again and can get them there. Wouldn't mind snorkeling-in-Shelbyville either, see if I can't see any ashy darters. But I don't know where I'm gonna grab bluebreasts in that collecting pattern without going down to the Little River. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad. Stop and see El Snorkelmiester along the way since I stiffed him on the Convention :)
