Are snappers somehow off limits in that state? Where I am snappers are very
common. Be that as it may my point was that the punishment should fit the
crime. We don't even know if the turtles were taken on purpose or by mistake all we
have was a slanted article that tried to make the people involved look like
they were the main cause of turtles being endangered in that state. There
weren't enough endangered turtles taken for any really large amount of money to
have been made off them. Virtually all the money mentioned was legal, you seem to
be totally against all taking of wild life for any reason. Yes, they should
be punished for taking illegal turtles but the fact they took legal turtles
shouldn't be in anyway considered for part of the punishment.
