Howdy gang,

Did a water change yesterday and the male hornyhead chub decided to completely
rearrange his nest. There was no spawning event so far as I know. There
weren't any scuffs on the female, and I certainly didn't see it happen. She'd
move a rock around now and then and that was about it. I totally missed the
chub moving the large rocks on top. It's funny to watch... Kinda like the
Scottish game where they throw the pole (can't think what that's called?)

Anyway... Some of this video might be interesting to you.

I'll have to appologize for my lady friend talking on the phone during the
track. I was so absorbed in the moment that I forgot there was much else of
the world and then only noticed that I'd been recording her too when I played
it back. And yeah, we're going to the St. George's Fest tomorrow night, and
so is Marcie... ;)
