you have greenfin and redline darters in your photos. both species need high
quality, cool and well oxygenated water. dont let them get warm.
frozen bloodworms are the best. you can chop earthworms for a tasty,
squiggely, motivational treat. if your good-in-raising live food then try grindel
worms and such.
note how the redlines can color morph their bodies... from dark to light and
how the bands will vary from "mood".
take care of them... very cool and personable fish.
both like to hide under stones and peek out.

yea... the little pigeon river is stunning. great place to snorkel.
