NANFA-L-- Elassoma breeding age?

I'm currently raising a group of E. evergladei which were spawned in
March I believe. Unfortunately the female died of bacterial infection
despite attempts to treat her. I think they are sexing out as I
noticed a bluish glint on the side of one of them a few days ago. I
moved the male out as I suspected he was harassing the juveniles.

My question is...what is the usual time period till they can spawn?
I've heard 6 months...but also one year. Does this depend on the
population?
