Welcome to the list Arie. =20

The best place to find out about rules and regs are on the state DNR =
websites. For New York, I think this link will have you good to go:

=20
While many of the more organized trips _seem_ to occurr in the central =
and southeast US because those people are active on the list, there are =
many NANFA folks up in your neck of the woods. Posting to the list is =
one way to run across them, and possibly some folks have contacted you =
already. Another way of finding people is contacting one of the =
regional reps nearest to you. =20

I'm not sure what part of NY you're in, but you'll see you've got folks =
all around you. =20

Greetings,
I have been lurking for a while, trying to get a taste of what goes on
in this group.
you seem to be a fun bunch, but the center of your activities appear=20
located a ways away from where I am. I am living in NY.
I recently went upsate where I collected some Blacknose Dace on private
property.
I want to do more, but need information about collecting. If anyone can
illuminate me as to rules and regs etc...
I also like native aquatic plants, and grow many of them a well.
