Dave,

The flatheads were photographed 1-2 hours after they were collected.
All were photoed back-in-the house. It's interesting that two of them
were very dark and the other two were light. The darker ones were
slightly bigger.

Dan, the Pimephales you show are P. vigilax. Excellent photos of all
fish. Were the flatheads photographed when collected, then placed in
aquaria and photographed after coloring up?
