Definitely interested, but can not commit. Later in the summer the better.

Hi gang,

I've been meaning to get to this... I'm finally getting caught up. This winter was rough.

Back in December, Wally Billingham contacted me about working together to organize a summer outing to his home waters of Beaver Creek in the Erie, PA area.

If you're unfamiliar with the system, it's in the headwaters of the Ohio River and hosts a very intact historic fauna of the Ohio River watershed. This isn't just limited to fish either... The mussel fauna is also intact and there are _guaranteed_ hellbender viewings included (This is a _confirmed_ report, not an assumption Nick ;)

As well, we have opportunity to pool together and take a charter out for some rod n reel fishing. Wally says July is prime for small-jaws and big walleyes (10lb+ a reality).

A couple weekends we were kicking around...

July 2nd-4th would be schweet if people can squeeze out of family obligations...

July 23rd and 24th would be the next one where either "host" would be available....

We can do late June or August too... I guess it just depends on what people want to do. What we don't want to do is abutt the Convention (the June option). Mostly because I'll need a couple weekends home after since I'll be out of the country from Mid-May and then shooting off to the convention a couple days after I get back. ;)

We'd just camp in the area, and Wally says there's a Motel 6 right by for cheap indoor accomodations.

Is there an interest?

Please contact me-in-this email addy or Wally-in-wally_pike-in-hotmail.com and let us know. We'll build a list then, and see what we can work out to fit the most schedules.

Thanks and hope to see you out there!
