I forgot to mention I keep them-in-room temp, 68-750F.

Dont forget to rinse them, and I use tap water to rinse then fill it back up
with spring water. If you miss rinsing them for some reason you might want
to pick through them and get some of the best ones to start a new culture.
When they go bad you and the entire neighborhood will know.
