I've caught a lot of banded and bluespotted sunfish as well as
juvenile fliers in the okeefenokee.

I don't think it's a bluespotted sunfish. It just looks to bland,
even under stress. Bluespotted sunfish usually have more rows of blue
spots than banded sunfish have.

Although I have to say that the fish I collect are in very high tannin
water and so they may be darker.

Flier's usually have more symetrical anal and dorsal fin and a pointier nose.
