Texas Area Killifish Org. (TAKO) Houston group is having a collecting trip
(the May meeting) on Sunday May 22nd-in-9am. We are inviting any interested
NANFA members to join with us. It will be a fun trip, plus we can use your
help to ID any non-Killies we find.

We will be meeting-in-the Diamond Shamrock-in-Hwy 288 & Hwy 6 (South of
Houston Texas)-in-9 am. There is a Subway in the station that serves
breakfast. Meet-in-the picnic tables by the Subway or inside if the weather
is nasty.

Bring your fish collecting supplies. Nets, bags, cooler, appropriate
clothes, sunscreen, snacks, water to drink, identification books, etc.
IMPORTANT: You will need a valid fishing license!

If you are running late, call Doug (713) 725-9851 so we know to wait for
you. The plan is to head South down 288. There is a scheduled stop to hit
some fresh water spots, then we will head farther South to hit some brackish
water spots. If time allows we can head even further South for some
saltwater spots.

Notes from the last meeting:
-The annual show will be held on July 8, 9 & 10th in Houston-in-the
Thornwood subdivision community center. The focus for this year's show is

his 2004 collecting trip to Uruguay. Friday night before the show will be a
pizza party with videos of SA fish. Saturday is the show and Sunday is the
auction. Check out the updated show page on the website for more
information.
