Decoys are lowered on a line through a hole in the ice and manipulated =
to imitate a living fish. The decoys are usually representations of =
forage fish. When a suitable fish is attracted into range it is =
speared. Decoys that imitate predator fish are usually created for =
decorative purposes only and are not used to attract fish (they wouldn't =
anyway).

I have to ask, how do you decoy a fish? Do you put a bunch of them out =
in the water and hope to attract other fish?=20
