About a year and a half or so ago I saw a gloriously colorful fish near
Franklin, AL.
I mentioned it here on the list and Bruce suggested that it was likely a
Luxilus chrysocephalus. After reading his blog today I can confirm that
it was indeed that species. Even in death the specimen depicted on his
blog showed enough color to convince me, and I can assure everyone that
live specimens in full breeding color are truly spectacular.

Thanks for blogging, Bruce! There's no telling how long that would have
continued to really bug me.
