This was what I was exactly beating around the bush about much earlier in the topic. This doesn't go for just the UK. Take for instance wildlife possession laws in various states in the US. Many of us may and could be in violation based on their interpritation, being little known and enforced laws or not. This goes not only for possession but for how we acquire/trade (import/export) as well.
