I guess I will repeat my admonition about release of captive fish into
natural waters. Even if the fish are the same individuals captured
from natural waters, and they are released to the same location, such
releases should not be carried out. The fish may be swimming cultures
of pathogens, some of which may not be native to the habitat involved.
Even a small number of such individuals may be a problem.

For this reason, among others, it is illegal in most jurisdictions to
release fish or other wildlife without permits. Such permits are not
easily gotten, for good reason.

Sorry to belabor this. Dave

"Where are we going?" "I don't know, are we there yet?"
