I wouldn't say its for all 6-year olds. But I wanted to report this for any

I have kids, grandkids and great grandkids and from my experience, age six is
not too young for any kind of fish related activity. Fishing with hook and
line, catching minnows, keeping fish in an aquarium, collecting eggs of
killifish, etc. My uncle started me at age four with a galvanized wash tub with a
couple catfish and I had a pole and line and hook. I still remember it, but I
don't remember where the picture is.
