That's the way I got it too. However, Chris, Bruce and Matt have helped me
understand a little more than my old fashioned view of the definition of
species. Thanks. I remember when hybridization studies were an important part of the
AKA because it was supposed to be the definitive answer to separation of
species. Now, I would hazard the guess that an examination by DNA sequence would be
the definitive study, But, again, how much of a difference constitutes a
different species? After all, we convict or acquit people on the basis of DNA
difference but we don't separate them as different species.
