Fantastic articles on the goldeye. A fish I have read about for ever but never seen. now I have a good understanding of another one of our unique North American fishes.

The satinfin info was great. I catch spotfin shiners here and I brought some fireyblack shiners home from Columbia. I think I have one female most of the fish have tubercles on the top of their heads all the way to their dorsal. I have had the female and the largest flashiest male together with a pile of 4 inch diameter rocks in a pile, no eggs. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
