Thanks for the updates, Bruce (and Dave M.). I e-mailed Hank Bart yesterday
morning in (faint) hopes that the appropriate connections may still be
intact. The message hadn't gone through as of this morning. Please keep us
posted if you hear anything.

I've been receiving updates on an informal list on the fate of various
ichthyologists and their institutions. As you might imagine, there's been a
lot of personal disruptioin and physical damage. Below is a message from
George Burgess that gives an idea of the damage. The ASIH meeting was
supposed to be in New Orleans next July, but is being rescheduled for Tampa.
