You must be talking about my swamp tank, it has grown to 125 gallons and is
starting to look pretty good. the cypress tree has rooted in the sand and soil
very well and the water iris's are doing well. It also has a large stand of a
local valisnaria, babies tears and ludwigdia (sp?) and an aquatic mint. I got
some weird snails that look Like MTS but they are about five times as big and
don't bury in the gravel. so far they don't seem to be reproducing. I used a a
deep sand bed to raise a couple of hognosed sucker up from about 1" to around
6 or so one spring and summer. the water was in the low 80's despite fans. I
think they were stressed pretty bad and eventually jumped out of the tank.
