As I think about this some more, it is possible that there has been some
stocking from the local hatchery, although it should not be necessary for the bass
population. There are a lot of bass. They have stocked Lake Trout a while
back but the effect on the Lake Trout reported catch was insignificant and not
cost effective. The next time I am up there, I will inquire at the hatchery.
