moon:
Sturgeon love to sift sand and eat all
sorts of worms, insect larvae and such but the one I had many years ago
would
eat micro pellets like they were going out of style.

i dont have any sand in the pool except for a 2'x3' tray i have in a corner
as a spwaning medium. i put it there for the studfish and have seen several
juvis this year. i dont know if the adults used it or not. i think i need to
direct current over it next year.

in the bowl shapped deep end there is a good bit of muck. maybe good food
habitat for a sturgeon.
