With Rainbow,Greenside,Fantail,Dusky,Iowa, and Slenderhead darters they have
always started eating frozen brine shrimp after a few days. The only trouble
I've had is with Johnny darters they wouldn't eat untill I placed some
Rainbows in with them. After a few days of watching the rainbows eat they
started. Stick with frozen food they can't be maintained on flake food. I'm
on my second gen. of tank raised Rainbows and Greensides almost all there
feed is frozen brine shrinp I know I should have a more balanced deit but its
been working for the past 5 years. Maybe the minnows asunfish are eating all
the food before they can get to it. Limet the other fish and see if that
helps, also my darters are chow hounds I feed them heavy twice a day. Good
luck.
