I've read the exact opposite; I've read that earthworms and white worms are
should be kept in water for a day or in sphagnum moss for a week to clear
out internal parasites. I tried to do that with earthworms, but about 50% of
the time they turn into mush and die (which contradicts what I read about
them not drowning in the water). I don't do this anymore, but I'm wondering
if keeping them in sphagnum moss for a week to get rid of parasites should be
done (don't know how that would get rid of them).
