SA few years bag I was able to watch Longnose gar spawn at my feet in a
shallow stream. I collected about 30 of the eggs to see if I could
raise them. i found out that they are very easy to raise that way. Also
found out that with the proper food (a lots of live food) a gar can go
from an egg to a 24" tank buster in 9 months!
