Chris,

There were issues with color accuracy on the first run of the plates. The
last I heard the replacement plates have been printed and the book is being
bound. Mid-May is still the projected publication date. I'll check into
getting a copy for the auction.

Speaking of new books, I received a copy of the USGS Courtenay/Williams
snakehead publication today, and it's a first-rate compendium of info on
snakehead biology!! I'll second Jan's recommendation!

I'm also really anxious to get the Mexico book. The sample accounts that I
saw at the DFC meetings looked great, and as it stands now, there's no
single book that provides a good overview of the fauna.
