Hi all,

I saw that a couple of folks mentioned Cyprinella lutrensis being collected,
if you were on the trip with me they are probably Lythurus rosepinnis from
Ard's and Rankin Creek. (Cherryfin shiner has a red dorsal fin and bluish
body but is smaller than lutrensis, and lacks the red slash behind the gill
covers.)

I have never found lutrensis in the are that we collected in on Sunday. If
you have Peterson's Freshwater Fishes, look at page 116.

If you do have lutrensis, I'd like to know however.
