Hello Theresa in Tennessee, welcome to the list.

I hate to be the one who breaks the news to you, but golden orfes are not a
native North American fish. They're a cultured golden variety of the ide
(Leuciscus idus), a European minnow (or carp). They get big (up to a meter) and
are predatory. Your guppies, killies and neons no doubt met their end in the
orfes' stomachs.
