I have this book, and for the price, it is a steal of the century. Its in
the same class as Fishes of Tennessee and Fishes of Wisconsin. Those two
books are famous enough to let everyone know what the Arkansas one is like.
Big thick books, full of good information, and generally good pictures ( WI
book is black and white, so the pictures are marginal to me). Plus the range
maps are invaluable to collectors. It would be nice if every state ( and
every country around the world) had one of these style books for fish people
to buy and use.
