Correction -
some abstracts are viewable

>>>I just learned about this site from our research librarian:

http://www.ingenta.com/

It does literature searches. Type in the topic or fish name of interest and
it pulls up a list of citations. The searches go back to 1997 automatically
but can be extended to 1988. I tested it on a couple of topics on which I
collect articles. It did not seem to miss anything.

Ingenta not only searches scientific journals, but state outdoor magazines
and some angler publications. Text (abstracts and articles) can only be
accessed by subscribers, but obtaining a list of references is free.

Note - Records from American Currents are included but only for
1992-1997.<<<
