Nick, your efforts would help formulate an official statement. There's
enough evidence in the literature that releasing captive fishes-- native or
exotic-- can have devastating effects on the environment if done improperly
(disease, hybridization, extinction, etc). I wouldn't want to get
sidetracked by confusing the issue with every little concern.
