I had heard about this sturgeon several years ago and I had thought that if I
ever did get my fish farm going I might try to breed shovelnose sturgeon and

dwarf sturgeon. If for no other reason than to breed an endangered species no
one seemed to care about since it has no economic value to prevent total
extinction. I did a detailed search and it would seem I am a couple of
decades too late. None have been seen since the 70's and it is considered
extinct. :-(
