A few years ago, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources was falsely
accused by some southern Indiana residents of secretly stocking their hills
and hollows with poisonous timber rattlesnakes.

People claimed they had witnessed black helicopters, manned by DNR
biologists, hover in the dark of night and drop baby timber rattlesnakes from
the sky.
