I was looking at site devoted to catfishing and I found out why the European
carp likes our waters so well. They have no preditors! In Europe the Wels
Catfish feeds mainly on adult carp. The fishermen there use adult carp for
bait! They say at night you can tell where the wels cats are at by the carp
jumping to get away from the giant catfish. Oh wait I hope the DNR doesn't
see this the'll be stocking wels catfish to control the carp ;-)
