I think he means that crappy 1/8 inch plywood you put down for flooring
repair projects. It's cheap. The most comical use for it I have seen is a
boat race (paddle) where the boats and paddles have to be built entirely out
of the stuff.

I thought he meant Luan which is a variety of mahogany and makes good
outdoor
material. Lexan is a tradename for polycarbonate plastic which is used in
storm doors for unbreakable windows.
