NANFA-- Constructing a pond under and around an A/C unit

I was wondering if it would be OK to construct
a pond under and/or around an outside A/C unit.
The unit is supported by a metal frame off the
ground.

My concerns are any chemicals or contaminants
dropping from the A/C into the water and also
if there will be any damage to the A/C by a
pond directly under it and possibly tall
leaves blocking air around it.

Any comments?

Thanks
Sajjad
