Thanks for the kind words everyone. I actually had
three cameras with me and I used all three. The one
of the falls was taken with a sony cybershot, which I
like for outdoor photography because the viewing
screen is especially bright and the camera is easy to
use. The next link below shows a photo taken with my
nikon coolpix 950 which is my camera of choice for
taking digital shots of fish. The second link is a
pic of Etheostoma variatum collected in 10 degree
weather just before thanksgiving in the Little Darby
in Ohio. It was shot with nikon EL2, a 25 year old
slr camera and a macro lens. I didnt get cold
collecting the fish but I sure froze my mitts off
while the fish were being transferred for the photo
shoot. I have slides of all the fish Ingo took with
him to Germany from this collection.
