Btw in the previous post I meant to say that BSD gets
their microalgae from Reed Mariculture and not brine
shrimp lol...

Two weekends ago I went to Cumberland Falls area in
Kentucky to collect but I had to scrub the idea
because of excessive snowfall. The area was beautiful
in six inches of freshly fallen snow on top of
ice...but it was just too dangerous to climb down the
2oo feet to the collecting sites I wanted to visit. I
will try again in January. Winter collecting has its
own rewards and if you are properly prepared can be
very productive. Mostly being out in nature is
reward enough for me ... I took a lot of slides and
digital pics of the area... the fish will there
another time...the snow won't.
