The location and date of the 2001 NANFA Annual Meeting has changed.

As previously reported on this list and in the Fall 2000 American Currents, the
meeting was supposed to be held at Crockett's Run in the Hocking Hills area of
Ohio in July. However, the price of Crockett's Run proved to be far more
expensive than we had anticipated. So Ohio regional rep. and meeting host Rob
Carillio found a new location in Hocking Hills, which also necessitated a change
in date.

THE LOCATION:
Hocking Hills State Park

THE DATE:
August 24-26, 2001

Hocking Hills State Park offers very nice cabins that sleep up to six persons
each. The cost per cabin is $89.90/night. (A one-night stay is $112.25.) Each
cabin sleeps up to six people and the cost can be split 6 ways. So, for example,
a 3-night stay at Hocking Hills State Park (not including convention
registration fee) could cost each attendee as little as $44.95. What a bargain!

Each air-conditioned cabin has two bedrooms (one with two twin beds, one with a
double bed), bath with shower, living room with trundle sofa, complete kitchen,
dining area and screened porch. Also included are microwave, kitchen utensils,
television, blankets, dishes, bed linens, toaster, 12 cup electric coffee maker,
2 courtesy bars of soap, and a set of 6 towels and washcloths. Outdoor grills
are provided for each cabin; you provide tile charcoal. Pets are not permitted.

Meetings will be held at a meeting and banquet facility on-site. There is also a
public swimming pool and camping facilities for those who camp. More details
about the cabins and Hocking Hills State Park are available at

YOU MUST RESERVE YOUR CABIN EARLY!

Hocking Hills State Park is very popular and the cabins fill quickly. We
strongly urge that you reserve the cabin at the soonest possible chance. Perhaps
your NANFA region would like to share the cost of the cabin and stay together.
The time to start making arrangements is now! The toll-free reservations number
is 1-800-282-7275.

In addition to the cabins, the Hocking Hills area has lots of other lodging
choices, from cheap hotels to romantic B&B's. Call 1-800-HOCKING to request a
free Visitor's Guide. Or visit http://www.hockinghills.com

Between Rob and myself, we will send out a detailed itinerary and registration
costs very shortly. I just wanted to convey the change in date and location now
so that you can begin planning for them.
